Chaplet of the Most Precious Blood

We are in the middle of the month of July, which is specially dedicated to the MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF OUR LORD. There is still time to choose from variety of devotions and sacramental of the Most Precious Blood one for us, which particularly will suit us.

Read and pray also the below powerful Blessing of the Rosaries of the Precious Blood taken from the Rituale Romanum. The remarkable are the words which in one sentence summarize why Our Lord came down from heaven:
“God, who, out of exceeding love for us, willed that your only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, come down from heaven to earth, taking flesh at the angel's message in the sacred womb of Our Lady, the blessed Virgin Mary, in order to snatch us from Satan's tyranny;”

 
BENEDICTIO CORONARUM PRETIOSISSIMI SANGUINIS
 Propria Congregationis Missionariorum pretiosissimi Sanguinis
Constat corona precatoria triginta tribus granulis, in septem distinctis partes, quarum quæque quinque habet granulos, septima parte excepta, quæ tantum tres numerat; ut ita honorentur septem Sanguinis Christi præcipuæ effusiones recitatione triginta trium Pater et septem Glória.

BLESSING OF ROSARIES OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD
Formerly reserved to the Congregation of Missionaries of the Precious Blood
The rosary is made up of thirty-three beads divided into seven parts, six of which have five beads each, and the seventh only three. In this way the seven principal sheddings of Christ's blood are honored by the recitation of thirty-three Our Fathers and seven Glory be to the Fathers.
V. Our help is in the name of the Lord.
R. Who made heaven and earth.
V. You have redeemed us, Lord, in your blood.
R. You have made us to reign with our God.
V. We therefore implore you to save your servants.
R. Whom your precious blood has redeemed.
V. Lord, heed my prayer.
R. And let my cry be heard by you.
V. The Lord be with you.
R. And with thy spirit.
 Let us pray.                                      Prayer
Almighty and merciful God, who, out of exceeding love for us, willed that your only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, come down from heaven to earth, taking flesh at the angel's message in the sacred womb of Our Lady, the blessed Virgin Mary, in order to snatch us from Satan's tyranny; we humbly beg you in your boundless goodness to bless + and to hallow + these rosaries, which your faithful Church has consecrated to the honor and praise of the precious blood of your Son. Let them be endowed with such power of the Holy + Spirit, that whoever carries one on his person or reverently keeps one in his home, may always and everywhere in this life be shielded from all enemies, visible and invisible, and at his death, by the merits of the precious blood, happily attain everlasting blessedness; through Christ our Lord. R. Amen.
